- Was married and experienced pleasure bringing up six children.

- Set up a Play Association in Huyton, Liverpool, England.

- Set up a Tenants' Association Huyton, Liverpool, England.

- Set up an Action Committee which helped to bring back community policing in Liverpool and then throughout England.

- The Advertisement Representative for The Christian Science Monitor in Liverpool, England.

- Helped set up a residential home for Christian Scientists in Leeds, England.

- A Christian Science Nurse in Whitehaven, England.

- Helped manage a Christian Science house in West Berlin in Germany, at the time the Berlin Wall was taken down.

- Pursued a very successful sales career, self employed, on a commission basis, traveling all over England.

- Decided to practice this Science 24/7 and share it with the world because Christian Science has given me the freedom that one looks for.
