When my husband was three years old, he was living in Blackpool in England. One day he was knocked down by a car outside his house. He was taken to hospital with leg injuries and the surgeon told his mother he would always have one leg shorter than the other. A lady who lived near asked if they would agree to her praying for the boy as she was studying Christian Science. The family agreed.

Every time the child was taken in for surgery, that was three times, his temperature went up and they were unable to operate. The fourth time when the surgeon examined both legs he found they were both the same length. He was very impressed with what he had witnessed for himself and personally wrote in Blackpool Victoria Record Book, that this boy was healed by Christian Science.
